We recently changed our sofas from dark grey covers to light grey & somewhat lighter material to fit the warmer weather. It got me thinking about sofas, mainly because we intend to replace the armchair in the work room to a smaller sofa instead – or maybe it will end up with another form of seating or function. Anyhow, once I had picked, selected, put aside & selected again, which took a while because there are so many nice images as well as sofas, I realised that I’ve chosen a lot of grey sofas. Funny how your mind works unconsciously – probably because I had grey in the back of my head for some reason or am I simply drawn to that colour right now, maybe…
You know that I don’t choose images after my taste only, it has to be something appealing of course but I love to have a spread in style & taste for it not to become too predictable. In any case, in terms of today’s blog post, I opt out of most gray sofas to mix it up with other colors. Well, other colors may be perhaps to promise too much, but other than grey then.

This is nice & looks like it’s quite easy to do. It’s a simple & unusual solution with the hanging bedside table. Appealing too with dark wall to white bed linen together with wood & earthy natural colours. It’s nice & soft contrasts. I’m not sure how shaky it can get, especially with small children or pets. But nice anyway!

I thought that the floor colour in this room were unusual, not something you see everyday. It’s a nice & airy room with a mix of new & old that makes it inviting. The old school chairs & the chubby cabinet combined with a straight, modern white table & ceiling light does the job. It is a place where you can hang out and focus on your company instead of being distracted, which is beneficial at times.

I like the framing of this kitchen. It creates a conviviality despite the relatively small surface. The wall with the window part on the inside makes the whole room pleasant because you get window panes to look through, plus a “back wall” to use for storage. And it’s very nice with the amount of light that makes the kitchen bright & airy. Charming style too without being too pretty.
