Those “wavy walls” are known as crinkle crankle walls, but also called serpentine, ribbon, or sinusoidal walls. They’re a classic example of how geometry can be used to outsmart the physical limitations of building materials.
The shape provides built-in structural stability, fewer bricks are used than are needed for a straight wall – which is the main reason they are built that way.
Tiles are always the right time, an excellent material to use in the kitchen & bathroom. There is a huge selection to choose from & fantastic design & structure. I like the classic size of 20×20 or 10×10 cm alternatively subway tiles.
Most things look good, in the right environment – however, I prefer white. Boring & ordinary perhaps but right for me.

We are hired as private drivers, part-time, usually involuntarily & unprepared – I may not have told you that! It’s various activities, dinners, gigs & other we are asked to drive our boys to, and it’s unpredictable. To put it nicely – we get to see places we otherwise wouldn’t. Different suburbs, neighbourhoods & areas where they usually meet with friends.
So in other words, inspiration from the streets today – it’s not about aesthetics, it’s about peoples creativity. The way people can change the street scene, not through architecture but by being ingenious in a simple, down to earth-way. What’s exciting is that it can turn up anywhere & unexpected. It makes me think about the person behind & the reasoning. I call it street art, where others might look at it as clutter or graffiti…perhaps.

I like the homely feeling with metal bed, squared bed linen & large-patterned wallpaper. The beige wall lamp, the bedside table & the small details on, contributes to the whole. A charming mix.

I wonder how many people would fall for this solution. It’s different with the white glazed floor & the white-painted logs on the wall & ceiling. A lovely contrast to the dark brown kitchen. It is a bit daring to take it that far but you do get a liberating expression as you become the only one to have. If I like it? Yes, sure I do!
