Masculine

There is no major difference between men & women if we exclude the physical. We are relatively similar, which of course has been the great art of understanding since the dawn of time. What my guys thinks is neat, is according to my taste preferense too. Now I realize of course that we have affected each other because we live together. They have been brought up in an environment that I believe will accompany the throughout life. One tends to hold on to what’s one is used to from childhood, usually. Anyway, I’ve put together images that I think would fit well for guys, in any age. It’s typically my style so you won’t see nothing outside the ordinary. Daily inspiration, blond

This is a neat & simple storage solution & this kind of boxed shelving system are very much into fashion. Floor & walls in white are forming a base for the bookshelf or whatever one prefer to store instead of books. To not risk letting all blend in to a nothing, someone have selected a desk & a stool in light wood material, and a chair in metal. Still a light & blonde impact. I wonder how many people would fall for this solution. It’s different with the white glazed floor & the white-painted logs on the wall & ceiling. A lovely contrast to the dark brown kitchen. It is a bit daring to take it that far but you do get a liberating expression as you become the only one to have. If I like it? Yes, sure I do!

Daily inspiration, still life

I am a lover of small simple arrangements. They’re easy to replace & modify according to taste, as well as each season. It’s important to not overdo it. Also to not get so excited so it’s & all over the place in the house. It makes the home personal if it’s done right. Still life tells a story about who’s living there & about their interests. I think that it helps to create order & structure so that the gaze flows more smooth throughout \ the room. If nothing else, you’re creating beautiful & aesthetic pieces of art to enjoy, for everyday use.

Daily inspiration, kids room

I can imagine that children would feel comfortable in this room. Floor space for games, sloping roof creating nooks, roof window with natural light, built-in bed in the corner with a small private room within a room & soft soothing colours. Nice that the ceiling is in untreated wood. The room has high cosiness factor. Nice place overall for children to live in. (I might have wished for more comfortable seating, large thick rugs & some cushions on the floor).
