I find hallways inspiring when browsing through images with different solutions, I think it is because it’s such important area of the home, the first impressions of the place. I am especially fond of space saving solutions with furniture along the wall & opportunities to get outerwear out of the way without hassle. And the floor free with space to move around.

Christmas Eve, early morning, much has already been prepared with Christmas shopping, food, cleaning, decorations – a quiet moment at the back before breakfast, a cup of coffee & then the Christmas festivities starts.
And I am so grateful that the weather is cool with breezy winds. (Not the usual heat of 40 degree heat).

I’m fond of simple stylish ideas such as this wall mounted magazine rack. It is functional at the same time it’s a good solution to in a simple way bring a change by replacing magazines or books with new fronts.

Lots of Christmas shopping & lots of jeans to sons & their partners. It’s always appreciated – as long as you get the right brand, fit & style, not to mention size. And it all worked out well, this year too.
Black jeans, blue jeans, faded, dark, untreated, treated – and I fond a nice pair to myself also 🙂

Wouldn’t you just love a winter picnic in a setting like this?
Sheepskin rugs, blankets, pots, porcelain plates, lighted candles with snow all around.
It’s beautiful and refreshing.
