Time for a bathroom, don’t you think? After a long weekend in Melbourne & a very nice hotel, I got bathrooms on my mind. They are usually small but functional which this one was also. You rarely need bigger bathroom when staying at a hotel but it is the opposite at home. Anyway, I got stuck for this image for the simple but classy decor.

Sweet things for the eye in our everyday, isn’t that wonderful, really – for the well being, at least. I think it makes us humans more friendly & more compassionate when we have nice & beautiful things around us. It might sound silly but it’s about the beauty in things & in people. Not perfection but valuable things that has certain memories connected to them. Or people that has certain behaviours, smiles, insight or other, that makes them irreplaceable. It is about the feeling things or individuals create within us. One cannot go on collecting people, but you can surround yourself with them as well as other things you happen to like too.

Inspiration can be found everywhere & there are always details that catches the eye, even if only a colour or a tiny item that attracts. Some sees the whole solution where others might not see anything special at all. It’s hard to tell what makes some things immensely popular, where many suddenly seem to like or fall for the same things. While similar solutions are completely without charm & arouses no-must-have- feeling at all.
There’s not much to say really – black & white always works, although I’m aware of & respect those who want more colour in their everyday lives. I just think that it’s nice to have a base that always works & which is also easy to change, when you feel like it. With simple means.
