I love this homemade tower block. It reminds me of the days when we built & created a great deal, with our boys when they were little. They loved to do carpentry, cut in paper & in fabrics & to paint – and surprisingly often, with unbelievably great results. Probably because it was genuinely made by small clumsy hands & with much love & admiration by the parents.

It’s an unusual detail with stairs that are painted (in yellow) on the front – it immediately becomes exciting & feels refreshingly different. The yellow colour are acidulous & fresh to white. I probably would have stayed there & or maybe just continued with only the black on the side but it’s more a personal taste & opinion.

I have been shopping tablecloths for our long table, actually two tables in a row. I have not had time to look over it earlier & it actually does a lot for a homely feeling. We gather for dinner together most days of the week. If not dinner, then at least a breakfast joint. Very important for the family & important for us to connect & catch up with the everyday life.
After a big birthday party for my oldest son, UNi & HSC studies for both – well, I have decided to wait a couple of weeks until they have completed those important & stressful events. It looks very messy but that’s life at times.

Imagine to go to bed or wake up to this view every day. It just must make you a better person. At least if you are a city person like me. I adore skyscrapers, hectic surroundings, stress, queues & so on. It makes me so small & insignificant in the big whole, if you get what I mean.
