It’s SUNday, the sun is shining & I’ve just had a nice breakfast with my darling. My boys are still in bed after a busy night out. I’m on my way on the Vespa to the design fair in Darling harbour with a friend for a couple of hours. Have a nice day & enjoy the weather, wherever you are 🙂

Some things are easy at times. It does not take much to make something fancy or to be perceived as nice. But on the other hand, that which is simple, can be the very thing that is so difficult. This room is transformed to a charming place with few & simple accessories.

It darkens so fast here in Australia. Even though it is spring now & the evening light stays longer as we draw towards the summer. Now, there are some ways to make it nice & bright during the dark period of the year. I’ve become fond of light-strings. Don’t ask me where it came from – I just found myself on the search after those in shops & stores. It has to be the right model & size. I discovered loads of different design & variations. Many are rather large & clumpy while others are nicely done. But no ones looks like the one I have in mind.
I’ll have to look further when I have more time on hand. Until then, there’s quite a lot to be inspired by – if not in stores then at least online.

I am a big fan of accessories, whether it’s for the home, clothing and other paraphernalia. This image shows how nice it can become with kitchen accessories. They embellish the daily life such as this kitchen, in this case. Nice accessories combine business with pleasure, pure & simple – where business is the cooking then 🙂

A home workplace should be warm, cozy & inspiring, right? You thrive better which makes you feel better too. And by feeling better, you become more creative as well as productive – words that hit high in today’s society. Warm colours, a large work desk, convenient storage & lots of daylight – that’s the way to go!
