Now, it’s not really beach time or season at this time of the year. Although we have warm days, the water would be a bit too cold – at least for me. But we can be on the beach all year round, of course, this lifestyle is undeniable. We usually take our bikes to the beach to stroll along the water, barefoot, to just enjoy the peace that it brings. The coffee shop at the corner of our favourite beach is open a few hours per day during the two “coldest” months & it is soothing to sit with the face towards the sun that still warms & just enjoy the moment.

I like colours but I do not use that much colour in my life. It’s enjoyable to experience colours & the way people make use of it in their lives. I admire people who uses colors when they dress for everyday or special occasions. The way they decorate the home with colours they love or just how they colour their hair in crazy combinations. It’s exciting & liberating. As soon as I try, it just feels totally wrong & I have to go back to my neutrals again. But let’s celebrate diversity & the impulses we get by our differences. That’s good enough for me!

It’s time to post something in black because black is so refreshing, beautiful & inspiring. I prefer the crispy expression where black is an addition – without that it dampens the overall feeling. I find that it can become a bit too gloomily. But I guess that it’s about taste & preferences too. It need not always be dark & gloomy with black as a supplement, as an important part or as a whole. I like the black & white contrasts as in the first image from a Swedish bloggers home.

Hat mood
Hat Fashion comes & goes but don’t get a real foothold – not since the 50’s or 60’s anyway. It’s a shame – it’s so neat! Hats can be adapted to just about anything, no matter what you like to wear or what style you have. Stylish, handsome, bohemian, casual, romantic, sporty – or as sun protection! The thing is that there is no one who doesn’t look good in a hat! Just so you know, I’m heading down to grab a coffee with some friends – with my hat on!

XL Pendant lamps
I have tried to find the time to call an electrician to replace the ceiling lights in every room through the house – but it always ends up on the to-do list. The old ceiling lamps are still there, after the previous owner. The more time passes, the less we think of them, unfortunately. While I’m waiting to summon up time & energy, I thought it might be nice to take a look at some different design & inspiration.
