Bike ride
So, my darling suddenly decided to buy a bike. He never bikes but he’s now going to participate in a ten miles bike ride with 10 thousand other cyclists where all the money goes to charity. He did a similar thing a few years ago. He then went & bought a bike plus all those things that comes with it – such as shoes, gloves, helmet & those clothes that are padded & upholstered everywhere with lots of badges sewn here & there.
Anyway, he did not use any of the stuff after that bike tour. Just when we’ve finally driven away most of it to charity, he comes up with the idea to repeat the procedure. So my dear has been up early every morning the past weeks to kick start his fitness level. And finally, the big day is here. It was nice weather when he left early this morning but it got warmer during the day, around 37 degrees. That’s not so cozy!
(But the important thing was the earnings which are donated to charity, in this case, muscle disease).

Chest of drawers
At home we always have had plenty of spacious chest of drawers. The shape & design of the drawers with knobs or handles plus that they are so easy to furnish with & to put stuff on top, makes the difference. We use chest of drawers in each room, no matter where in the house. I have had them in the kitchen where we stored all the cutlery in the top drawer & textiles such as tea towels, napkins, tablecloths, in the bottom. They are also perfect in the hallway for hats, gloves, umbrellas, scarves, etc. Kids rooms, bedrooms, bathroom & so on.
We have used various models throughout the years & gave away the last ones less then a year ago or so. In fact, I believe our boys kept one or two as a memory from their late childhood. And we have two white chest of drawers in our bedroom in perfect hight. They are just right for all sorts of little things that need to be stored with easy reach. I like that they so easily fits into different rooms for different needs.

Outdoor mood
Stylish summer furniture is sometimes hard to find. Especially when you have a picture in mind of how you want them to look like or if you have to adapt to a given area. In a country like Australia, you are not so dependent on the weather, in the sense that you can be outside all year round. You often see indoor furniture on porches. Sofas, armchairs & tables. I thought it looked a little tricky in the beginning, coming from a winter-land. But it’s very charming. Although, I’m continuing to stick to furniture for outdoor use. However, this is not about outdoor furniture, but about being outdoors. You’re supposed to use what the occasion offers to enjoy the pleasant weather. Our winter here in Australia have been fantastic. One of the warmest winters in 40 years, I believe. The winter here is almost like our summer in Sweden. So, with this beautiful winter weather, I find my self in outdoor mood.
