Crockery

Crockery of all kinds is available in endless quantities & much can be found at design markets, in specialty stores & online. And of course via Pinterest – here are a few that I’ve liked & saved to my board purely based on their aesthetic appeal.

Vegetarian 🌱 Vegan πŸ₯‘

It can still be very difficult, when traveling, to actually find restaurants that offer vegetarian | vegan dishes. Plant based food is still not easy to find & you have to look for it early in the day if you want hot food for lunch or dinner. Otherwise, there’s the occasional sandwich, a little more salad option or one or two pizzas almost everywhere. But hot, well-cooked food is harder to find.

Birkenstock

The classic Birkenstock slipper is common today, not only at work for comfort, but also as a trendy street style detail. A shoe that fits most styles. This suede design with the exposed stitching has an updated classic look. Nice!

Black & white

So great when you decorate in a strict color scale & stick to a simple graphic theme. With simple means, it’s easy to create a strong expression & impression.

Antoni GaudΓ

Antoni GaudΓ, born 25th June 1852, is one of the most beloved architects in the world. After his eight years training as an architect, his first solo commission was designing lamp posts. He designed furniture, church interiors & a pharmacy & houses. The project that dominated GaudΓ’s life was the Sagrada FamΓlia which started 1883 – not yet completely finished. GaudΓ brought delight to the world: colour, playfulness, whimsy & beauty. He’s style was startlingly original.

The Casa BatllΓ³, remodelled by GaudΓ in 1904, in his own true style.
1885, completion of a house. Quite unique style that had not been seen before.
Gaudís style was to cover rooftops & façades in decorative, highly colourful tiles, mosaics
& floral shapes β€” truly transformational.
