Cafe Monochrome

Café Monochrome is located just a five-minute walk from Chinatown MRT Station. A modern black & white modern design, complete with paper lanterns & hand drawn depictions of Chinese architecture – possibly inspired by the neighborhood the cafe is located in.
Unique interior experience ⭐️

Tantolunden | Stockholm

Tantolunden, a colonial garden park in central Stockholm, designed by the garden architect Alfred Medin, completed in 1899. I always make time to visit – there’s a lookout place at the top where you can sit down & enjoy the view over Stockholm 🇸🇪

Antoni Gaudí

Antoni Gaudí, born 25th June 1852, is one of the most beloved architects in the world. After his eight years training as an architect, his first solo commission was designing lamp posts. He designed furniture, church interiors & a pharmacy & houses. The project that dominated Gaudí’s life was the Sagrada Família which started 1883 – not yet completely finished. Gaudí brought delight to the world: colour, playfulness, whimsy & beauty. He’s style was startlingly original.

The Casa Batlló, remodelled by Gaudí in 1904, in his own true style.
1885, completion of a house. Quite unique style that had not been seen before.
Gaudís style was to cover rooftops & façades in decorative, highly colourful tiles, mosaics
& floral shapes — truly transformational.
