Attic areas are not always as charming as it sounds. Still, it sounds appealing because it is an attic, right? A private space, cut off from the rest of the house. Nicely decorated, with plenty of natural light, ceiling beams as well as functional, the attic is a great place to spend the time.

Just as we are looking to remove the desks, to replace the working space to a hang out – room instead – I began to look for various desk solutions. I’m not even interested in keeping the workplace since we don’t use it, as it was intended. We carry our laptops around the house, so nowadays there’s not always a need for a specific place for work – not even to store things. Not when you have a hard drive!
But I like the idea of desktop solutions, so this is a post in that theme today, after all. Once I had put together all images, I realised that all desks are straight without any frills or decorations. Well, it is what it is – my preferences!

A home office, is that necessary nowadays – yes, I guess so. It depends on how much you’re working from home & how often. This is a nice solution with brown stained wooden table & soft contemporary office chairs – with drawer units at each side. I like the contrast between the sturdy wooden planks, the chairs & the iMac.
