I like this styling of the bedroom. It’s white with beige on beige which makes the room quiet & peaceful. It works well to all the wood too. Very pleasant & easy to absorb. If anything, I might find the headboard slightly too high.

Wall paper – well, I was in a wonderful little store with textiles & wallpaper when I was doing some of the Christmas shopping the other day. It wasn’t the range as much as the atmosphere & appearance in the shop – the smell, the space & the neatly folded piles. And the small the test pieces of wallpaper samples, where you hardly could make out patterns or even imagine how it would look like on the wall.
It’s a lot that is happening within that area now. With advanced technology, you can get whatever you would like on your walls, nowadays.
Enlarged photos of family, friends, idols, holiday memories or whatever. On the other hand, there are a great deal of new design on the market, which really evokes possessiveness. Great variety of beautiful motifs, graphic design, landscapes or skyline … it’s your choice! Wall paper is a good way to “dress” the room in pattern or color that provides a personal touch, express your personality & provide cosiness. It’s a great benefit today, that they are easy to put up & even take down to move to another wall … within certain collections & trade marks.
I can’t claim that I am a big fan of wallpaper even though I like the thought & often becomes inspired. It is such a difficult choice. How do I know if I will like the colour & pattern, once I have made my choice. That I will not get bored. I’m so used with white walls & have had it white – forever! You could say that it’s about time then, AND perhaps it is. But until I’ve made up my mind, it will do with nice & inspiring images.

Yep, I think I’m longing for a rest or more correct, a looooong holiday. This, even though the sun is shining & the weather is nice. But since I began a new job quite recently, the highly anticipated leave will have to wait. I’ll have to content myself with a little rest once in a while instead & what could fit better than thick, comfortable mattresses, right?
Mattresses, you might be thinking, what now? Yes, you are right perhaps. But I’d like to add that mattresses, which in itself are thin & flat, actually can look infinitely different. I might even claim that they can be exciting … that is, in purely expressive terms & material selection. And just think, where & how they can be used, practically everywhere, really. Childrens room are given, guest room, on the porch or balcony, in the living room … well, just simply choose what suits your need, indeed.

Single is not as in single – it’s about single beds. Both expressions are charming or less charming, depending on desired situation. I adore single beds, they make me think of childhood, relatives, anniversaries, celebrations, summer stays & holidays – all at once. We always had people staying over & once they left, next were on incoming. Not always a pleasure back then because you had to leave your beloved room to share a small narrow single bed with one of my siblings – since it was expected. Not always easy to understand as a young kid. Had no the desire to do that either, as I remember it. But that’s history now, what remains is nice & funny memories from that time. That’s usually the case, you remember the good stuff & forgets the dull ones, right?
My growing up is a major reason why we are living a similar life today as then. With lots of beloved ones who’s visiting & remain a long time. My boys love it & life becomes a little more festive that way. However, they need not to experience the “single” situation. Well, that’s the kind of thoughts that went through my head when I searched for images. Images really influences the brain positively… a good reason to believe that beautiful & inspiring pictures makes us to better people.
