A beautiful Christmas with simple attributes that make a nice Christmas in white & green. A little shiny metal accents for an icy feeling, too.

Daily inspiration, patterns
Textiles are an important part of a home. Not only for comfort, the feeling or seasonal change. All the more for the joy of colours, patterns & texture. If there is somewhat wrong shade together with something new – I can’t relax until I’ve fixed it so it feels harmonic again. Not that anyone would be able to see a difference but so what – I’m talking about a feeling & it’s important enough. These textiles are not in right red colours, for my part, but it’s more about mix of patterns in this case.

Christmas sweets
All sorts of desserts, snack & goodies are probably prepared & ready to serve for Christmas. No matter whether it’s bought or self made – although I prefer homemade. I had a mother who were very good at cooking, baking & in general an all-rounder in the kitchen. I inherited NOT the smallest portion of this ability. Maybe unfair, perhaps but it is what it is. But enjoying delicacies is not bad either. Desserts of all kinds are preferred, but generally, sweets is something of a must on the Christmas table. I thought this theme would be suitable a day like this – enjoy! AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU,

Daily inspiration, four-poster bed
A nice room that has a lot of fine details. Wall panels in light grey, sloping roof, dark-stained beams & suitable style on bed linen. Rag rugs has a tendency to always create atmosphere. It might be a space in the attic which has been renovated. Either way, it’s very nice.
