Leather
We have no furniture in leather at home. Have had once, long ago, when it was almost a must in the 80s, but it’s just a memory today. For some reason, it does not feel attractive even though there are many fine models. It gives a certain character to the room too. But to take a look is ok, for pure inspiration. Classic, modern, curved, sleek…plus different colours including poufs.

Cabinets
We have removed some cabinets , there’s no need to keep so much stuff but also because they took up too much space. It doesn’t feel particularly necessary to constantly save things – that still will take up space somewhere anyway. But that’s easier said than done – it’s about furniture that’s been with us for a while, or a long time. You get a special relationship to them. Furniture is not just things, they have an emotional value, as well as dressing the home in a comfortable attire that welcomes every time you walk through the door. Grey again
I guess that it can be a bit boring to have a look at different sofas, yet again in grey. I can’t help it, it’s what I like & prefer. We are looking at new sofas & have been around & seen a lot of nice designs & colours – but we always end up in wanting one in grey. Maybe, maybe it will end up with one in white, we’ll see!
