It’s starting to feel festive & a bit Christmassy on Orchard Road – although they’ve just started setting up the Christmas decorations. A bit snow wouldn’t be bad at all 😊

A Christmas facade that you really feel great about. Beautiful, theatrical & brilliant that brings back memories of childhood.

A home is not putting on a spectacle. A home should reflect how you live, what you like, show the time you’ve lived there – with new & old things, with cracks & whole things, with charm, personality & the time that is and the time that was. That’s when it’s at its best, most pleasant & can be called a home.

Visited the temple, Thian Hock Keng this weekend. Turned out to be an architectural masterpiece. It plays an important roll in Singapore’s history from the 1800s. Details of the temple’s history are recorded on stone steles inside the Entrance Hall.
It was magnificent, colourful & interesting to observe the greetings & welcoming of visitors outside the entrance. The architectural wonder & the fragrant incense in the air made it to a pleasure to just stand back, take it in & observe it all.

Lots of colours & patterns in a small space. Including the painted windows & frames in green. But it works with the motley collection & you get a charming & homely feeling.
