What do you think of a dark bookshelf? It reminds me of our first home when we were newlyweds. We had a dark bookshelf covering a wall & white painted walls that we combined with a mix of white & dark furniture. Quite traditional & probably an unconscious copy of the parental home.

I think I’ve posted similar picture earlier or even the same, but I’m fond of this picture … for the strong kitchen-feel it inspires – the combination of modern kitchen gadget with traditional utensils.
