Minimalism with a warm touch – mixing different white palettes, lighting & levels that creates an exciting result.

We’ve been home in Sweden for a short visit after almost two years of isolation & are now traveling a couple of weeks in Germany before we return home again. We’ve made many visits to various museums. Partly for the art, partly for the architecture (many museum buildings are fantastic) but also for the great silence when you slowly walk around looking & taking in the works. It’s a very calm & soothing environment.
Sometimes I ponder about how big an area you really need, without feeling trapped. I have a preference for smaller homes, that can decorate functionally with what’s needed for everyday life. The main thing is access to an outdoor area. Either way, this interior is an example of a living room in a size that fits. And looks good.
