I’m fond of bookshelves & likes when things are organised neatly & with a thought behind. Not only to store the books but to show them lying, standing or with pages opened. It’s nice to use covers & colours to create interest & difference. Also to break it up with other nice stuff, for an aesthetic balance.

Some pictures can evoke memories, others can arouse curiosity or simply inspire. This image fits in all three categories. I’m fond of robots (especially the ones in meta) even if it may sound odd. All years of toy robots has made its marks so that when I look back, I remember names & characteristics of the various nasty, kind, powerful or smart characters, who at various times were my boys favourites.
I’ve just gone through piles of books & magazines to try to clear some of my collections. I have not the heart to throw any of this although much of the magazines are old. It’s simply not possible. That’s why this picture fit as well as today’s image love.

This is a neat & simple storage solution & this kind of boxed shelving system are very much into fashion. Floor & walls in white are forming a base for the bookshelf or whatever one prefer to store instead of books. To not risk letting all blend in to a nothing, someone have selected a desk & a stool in light wood material, and a chair in metal. Still a light & blonde impact. Caramel colors of the props & light streaming in from the side reinforces.
