The emphasis is on developing buildings with a holistic thinking in relation to the existing built environment, landscape belonging & local materials & crafts.
The buildings create an increased quality of life both functionally & aesthetically. One of my favorite architects.
The Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney is located in a green lush surrounding near the water – and a free public institution. The gallery is currently showcasing a collection of Henri Matisse – an extraordinary immersion in the range & depth of the art of one of the world’s most beloved & influential artist.
Raffles Hotel Arcade is a shopping venue located inside one of the greatest attractions in Singapore, the famous Raffles Hotel. Most people have heard of Raffles Hotel which is known for its beautiful colonial architecture & colourful history.
The interiors are simple but striking with rattan chairs in wonderfully warm colors, bright walls & friendly staff. And the lounge music is faintly heard in the background.
It’s certainly a skill set to create a setting that looks so inspiring & well thought out with limited colours – very impactful. An environment with depth, character, harmony & creativity.
There’s few things that complement an outfit like accessories. Finishing touch!
