Together
Weekend & I happen to be off, which I have looked forward to. Not to be active but to sit back & take it easy, rest & gather energy. Our weekends have always been about time for the family, mainly to socialise & to create a base where we can catch up with chores & cares. Orange
Orange has great warmth when it’s in the right shade. It’s cool together with red, pink & cerise colours. The contrast can be exciting. Orange usually makes me think of carrots, pumpkins & apricots. It is between red & yellow & generally associated with extroverts, fire, activity, danger & the autumn season. It is an important symbolic colour of Buddhism & Hinduism. But today, it’s an orange theme basically because of Halloween.

Straight lengths
Straight curtains, plain & simple, not too patterned – that’s what I’m hooked on now. Simple lengths, preferably in white & better still without curtain tie-backs. It’s nice when you can see the whole curtain, hanging without draping & just lugging a bit on the floor. It doesn’t have to be just curtains for the window, there’s many different functions of course. Take a look!
