Small houses

Houses, rooftops & one dimensional forms of houses, a bit old-fashioned in the shape, the type in the way that you draw when you are a child – it has always had an enticement for me. I don’t know what it is that makes them so cute. Older cottages generally look like that. Especially in fairy tales, if you didn’t happen to be a princess living in a castle. Small houses, something I’m fond of!

Black lodging

It struck me the other day that it’s not particularly common with black houses. Thus black façades, the very dark soot-blackened façades. Can certainly be found here & there in specific areas. Properly done, it is really beautiful with black buildings that stand out in the public visual noise. Some buildings & houses can get a majestic dignity. Black houses beautifies wherever they turn up, whether it’s in town, the countryside, along the coast or in isolated areas. Let us see what you think. I am very fond anyway.

Daily inspiration, seclusion

I wouldn’t mind this type of living, for a couple of weeks. It’s beautiful, no doubts. Usually not as isolated as it looks. I do feel as if I need to get away from all bustle & all musts. A feeling that comes over me occasionally when life just rolls on without sufficient time to breathe & feel that one lives.

Line up

I picked slightly different images at random where the only common, is that it’s a kind of in-a-row theme in them. Can not say why I did so. I just felt that it was simple & rather uncomplicated because I couldn’t bring myself to do something more ambitious. But it proved to be more difficult than expected actually. It took a while too. But as always when I search for images, there’s so much details, solutions, colours. It’s inspiring in one way or another, that I lose myself in time & place. All of them are certainly not fancy, but it’s not supposed to be so, everything you see shouldn’t be according your liking. That would make things rather boring.
