Hairspray

Hair is fairly essential for the look, don’t you think? It reflects your personality, your style & how you want to look at certain occasions. Maybe it’s not that important with hair. It says more about us humans perhaps, that we are relatively vain – rightly so maybe. We often have the desire to be different & what captures the first impression is what you see, of course. The reason for today’s post is of course that it’s time to make an appointment at the hairdresser. The reason for today’s post is that it’s time to make an appointment at the hairdresser. The only thing I do, is to cut off two cm & possibly color the roots. I’m indeed very exciting

But the inspiration flows when I’m there. It’s fun to listen to conversations in progress & browse through the latest magazines. Above all it is exciting to see when different customers are done – if they look anything like they thought, before they started. It seems so, they are always very happy. I’m at least always amazed at the change. You know, just how much you can do with hair & how that changes the person completely.

Daily inspiration, sandwich

I had a day off today & met with an old friend for breakfast.

It was nice & relaxing, with a short walk after the breakfast where we shopped a few girlie things, to her adorable daughter. It’s sunny & warm in the sun so we spent a couple of hours on my porch & talked about everything under the sun. I thought this lovely image would suit to “today’s findings”.

The dark surface of the table, the plate of green design & the arrangement of the sandwiches with a wooden stick to hold everything in place. Love it!

Daily inspiration, black & white

Sometimes I see a picture that I find nice. Next day or next time I see the same Image & I find it absolutely wonderful. It changes from one day to another. Maybe, you need to see some things several times to react. As some movies that feels like, oh well. Then when you later on sees them again, the feeling is completely different.

This was not the case with this picture, it was instant love!

I fell for this picture today.

I think it’s because I always am on the look out for pictures with inspiring wall solutions. On the whole, I think it’s interesting & exciting with photos, pictures, posters & anything else that can be framed or just be put up on a wall. The last year or the years it has become more common with different solutions instead of the standard three frames in a row on the wall. Personal expressions, fun & different thinking around composition, frames around a corner & so on.

This solution requires less colours in the room to allow the wall do the job. Which it certainly does!

Container living

Every time I drive past the airport, I see the huge container hangar where the containers are stacked on one another, in endless rows. It looks like an exciting landscape of orderly rows of giant iron boxes. I think it looks extremely appealing, can’t help it. Every time, the thought occurs, that I would like to live there … which impossible of course. At least right there. But it is possible to live in a dumpster … or whatever name that is appropriate. They are suitable both as workplace, a home, storey building, kindergarten & so on. Or even a mobile home, why not!

Here are some great solutions that are interesting in many ways. The possibilities are endless & it shouldn’t be too expensive, for those interested. What do you think?
