Namsos Church is a parish church belonging to the Church of Norway & is located in the center of the town of Namsos, just north of the mouth of the Namsen River. The large brick church was built in 1960 to replace the previous one that was bombed & burned during World War II.
The rectangular church was built according to drawings by architect Ola B. Aasness & has room for approximately 622 people. The church also has a free-standing belfry on the south side of the main building. A clear 60s architecture.
