Tantolunden, a colonial garden park in central Stockholm, designed by the garden architect Alfred Medin, completed in 1899. I always make time to visit – there’s a lookout place at the top where you can sit down & enjoy the view over Stockholm 🇸🇪
Antoni GaudÃ, born 25th June 1852, is one of the most beloved architects in the world. After his eight years training as an architect, his first solo commission was designing lamp posts. He designed furniture, church interiors & a pharmacy & houses. The project that dominated GaudÃ’s life was the Sagrada FamÃlia which started 1883 – not yet completely finished. Gaudà brought delight to the world: colour, playfulness, whimsy & beauty. He’s style was startlingly original.
The Casa Batlló, remodelled by Gaudà in 1904, in his own true style.
1885, completion of a house. Quite unique style that had not been seen before.
GaudÃs style was to cover rooftops & façades in decorative, highly colourful tiles, mosaics & floral shapes — truly transformational.

I like those cafe furniture that you often see lined up along the sidewalk, inviting & with the front facing passers-by – so you slowly can sip your coffee & people-watch.
