Asian Civilisation Museum
We spent a couple of hours at the Asian Civilization Museum (ACM) recently. It’s one of the pioneering museums specializing in the material history of China, Southeast, South & West Asia, from which the various ethnic groups in Singapore trace their ancestry.
It’s a beautiful building architecturally on the outside & just as beautiful & exciting on the inside. We walked through the exhibition of Tang Shipwreck, Ancient religions & Life in Edo – all beautifully told & well presented.
Porcelain
Porcelain from Japan that’s microwave & dishwasher safe, although hand wash is recommended. Since it’s handmade, the glaze colors & texture vary slightly – which is exactly why it’s perfect.
What else 🤷🏻♀️
What else is needed right now, other than a comfy sofa, stack of magazines & naturals light – sounds perfect to me.
