I just adore the light in this kitchen – a little foggy sunlight coming through the window somewhere from the left. Also fine window straight forward & solid kitchen furniture. Especially the beautiful wall shelves with brackets.

Blue, such as the blue basket on the table, was once a favourite colour. My mother in law bought baskets in different models & painted them in this typical colour that was associated with a particular landscape in Sweden. A base colour, which was similar to the blue, shown in the picture, with white simplified floral design. I think that’s why I fell for this styling – except that it’s inspiring too, of course.

I think that it’s such a nice environment with carefully chosen furniture & materials – brick wall in white, wooden floor in white, plain white walls – and despite the simplicity, it’s very decorative & engaging.

I’m sure that you’ve seen this image before on various media. It’s a great interior on two levels, but still a small space, that looks large because of the layout & furniture placement. White floor & walls contributes, of course. With the black feature wall that reaches to the ceiling, the room appears larger & more spacious. Very stylish & inspiring Scandinavian style.

Grey, beige & tobacco brown is not a common colour combination. Light-grey sliding doors, tobacco brown wallpaper & what i find most inspiring, frames that follows the shape of the headboard. A nice bedroom with a calm colour scheme.
