Blue roller blinds sounds nice now – with the sunshine, sunny weather & seaside close by. Especially when combining stripes & floral patterns – can’t go wrong there! It’s nice, isn’t it – it looks homey to me.

Simple styling in cobalt blue – a deep blue pigment containing cobalt & aluminium oxides. I actually liked the couch most, to be honest. It is nicely styled but as always it is the textile part on the couch & all cushions, that creates the convenient homely impression.

Daily inspiration, colourful styling
Blue, such as the blue basket on the table, was once a favourite colour. My mother in law bought baskets in different models & painted them in this typical colour that was associated with a particular landscape in Sweden. A base colour, which was similar to the blue, shown in the picture, with white simplified floral design. I think that’s why I fell for this styling – except that it’s inspiring too, of course.
