Starters

Sometimes I eat more with the eyes than anything else.

How it tastes is of course important, but the way it looks, that it is appetising, is even more important – it starts there, with the serving.

Lots of food

I admit that I’m posting lots of food lately.

At least compared to previously – it’s been a lot of interior design mostly.

Family visiting, long evenings, early long breakfast’s, lunch / finger food around the pool, coffees…

Between buildings

This narrow alley in Adelaide, Australia was once a place where garbage cans lived – now home to the Pink Moon Saloon, a recently opened bar & restaurant, built between existing buildings, with a tiny outdoor area, designed by Sans-Arc Studio.

Boiled egg

With family visiting, you can be assured that there will be a boiled egg for each one, for breakfast, no matter what we choose to eat.

That’s something that has become a habit for my father in law & we all know how difficult it can be to break these. So a boiled egg each morning, to our breakfast, it is!

Birthday cake

To all our birthdays, a Pavlova belongs to the festivities.

It has become a tradition in Australia, mostly because my husband loves it – and we just kind of hung on the need, the rest of the family.(Unusual, as it normally would be discussed & reflected upon).

This time it was a simplified version – not bad at all!
