Windows

I have a certain fascination with building features, one of which is windows. Doors, roofs, balconies, terraces, fences & other similar is exciting. New buildings with modern architecture has exciting solutions. As the first two pictures below. And older buildings, well they usually have windows that’s adorable.

Runners

What would a home be without rugs or runners in any form. Whether they are in plastic, modern, oriental, country or made by rags in the traditional way. Rugs generally enhances the comfort in a home. Not just by keeping the cold away from the floor or dampen the noise but because it creates more life into the home environment. More colour, texture, warmth & joy. It’s nice when you use several of them in a row, layer upon layer or mixed with other unexpected patterns & textures. designfinds.tumblr.com missdesignsays roomandserve trasmattor roomandserve designmom.com bloglovin.com thatkindofwoman.tumblr.com fancy.com doyoufancythis jonasingerstedt via bloglovin.com husohem.com hus&hem.se aftonbladet.se paradisetour-home.tumblr.com pinterest.com Take care / Marie

Grey again

I guess that it can be a bit boring to have a look at different sofas, yet again in grey. I can’t help it, it’s what I like & prefer. We are looking at new sofas & have been around & seen a lot of nice designs & colours – but we always end up in wanting one in grey. Maybe, maybe it will end up with one in white, we’ll see!

Roses

Roses & floral can often get very cute or too decorated. I found that single coloured environments is best suited as a base if you want to decorate with patterns. When concentrating in a few places, instead of the whole room, you get a stronger impact & it feels less “busy” – but then again, it’s always about preference…
