Rugs is such a beautiful decor item to dress a home by adding colour & texture, to add personality & a homey feeling, to add care & warmth. It makes such a difference for the home & for comfort. Rugs are so valuable in terms of reducing the noise level as well as creating warmth through choice of materials. If you then mixes patterns & colors a bit as you feel, then you can get it really cozy.

A BIG THANK YOU, to all supporters who have been with me since the beginning, to you who have come on board during the journey & to you who arrived recently. Many thanks for every lovely comment, your encouragement & for that you find inspiration that links us together in common interests. We are now 110,000 individuals on an ordinary woman.
(I am fond of old sayings. They have survived the passage of time. They tell of something that were once whilst they often fit into what is now, too).

There is a lot going on in this kitchen. I like the white & fresh expression. Open shelves in combination with glass doors makes the kitchen area interesting. It’s exciting when you can see the contents inside even though it might require some structure for it not to be perceived as messy. The lower kitchen area in front gives stability to the room. (I only think it is too much with six pendants above).

Now & then I get a craving for a hamburger – but it has to be homemade burgers with fresh bread, vegetables, onions & somewhat sour cream alternatively natural yoghurt. Or as the ones below – looks nice enough to me 🙂

Rough porcelain with texture & somewhat bleached or colorless may seem boring, but not when it looks like this. Is not it nice? It really makes a difference on a set table, with its simple expression.
