Window with a view

As a person with an interest in beautiful things & pleasing design language, it’s a lot of images that passes through my everyday life, whether I’m looking for them or they just pops up in the moment. Sometimes it’s tasteful design, smart décor, stylish clothes or simply beautiful views. It is perhaps somewhat stiffly & a little too much with the twig in the pot, but I liked the bathroom furniture with room for own sinks, black mirrors & windows with lovely light & the granite grey floor.

Window view

What would a house be without windows, whether it is seen from the inside or the outside. The daylight is necessary of course. Perhaps important to keep an eye on the surroundings, at times. For me, a window is a welcome sight, with someone waiting inside. It gives the house character & identity. Many are the times I have walked in my various neighbourhoods where I have lived & looked at houses & through the windows.

Life from the inside seems interesting too, with the different seasons that flows by, creating different views. Like the other day with thunder & lightning that lasted for quite a while. It’s nice to be inside, then! A Window is a shelter from the outside world, if you want. Just as it is an opening to the world, when you want.

Daily inspiration, white kitchen

A fun way to frame a surface while it’s relatively transparent so that it feels as an extension of the room. With all walls white, internal & external, including the ceiling, glass cabinets & windows, the whole feels very airy. The actual kitchen has an impression of an embrace which makes the surface gentler & inviting because of the rounded front.

Line up

I picked slightly different images at random where the only common, is that it’s a kind of in-a-row theme in them. Can not say why I did so. I just felt that it was simple & rather uncomplicated because I couldn’t bring myself to do something more ambitious. But it proved to be more difficult than expected actually. It took a while too. But as always when I search for images, there’s so much details, solutions, colours. It’s inspiring in one way or another, that I lose myself in time & place. All of them are certainly not fancy, but it’s not supposed to be so, everything you see shouldn’t be according your liking. That would make things rather boring.

So these are my finds today 🙂
