I think I would have a hard time choosing wallpaper, no matter which room in the house it would be. It’s nice & gives a dressed feel to the home. I recently found a white wallpaper with texture that feels like velvet on the surface. Very beautiful & gave a sense of depth when you got the wall somewhat at a distance. But still, I do not know if I would want to have a wallpaper that I then have to live with for a while. Maybe, maybe not – while I’m thinking, there’s a lot of inspiration to enjoy.

There is so much you can do by using simple means, to strengthen the character in a room. A blank white wooden floor, glass door, striped wallpaper & lots of frames with old designs, vintage table & stacked books is equal to a lovely room with lots of atmosphere.

Christmas is one of the seasons where you can exaggerate without it becoming too much. I don’t know why, it’s just the way it is. You might not agree with me since it has to do with taste & preference, but ok, that’s my general opinion. As this image for example. Wall paper, bedding, carpet – various sizes of plaid as well as plenty of patterns, mixed in an abundance – it is over the top but it works anyway. Just because it is Christmas!
