Residential

Ting1 is a residential building in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, designed by Gert Wingårdh & were ready for occupancy in 2013.

The facades of the lower ten floors are clad with glazed ceramics & the top floor in painted sheet metal. Facades, roofs & undersides of balconies are all colored in eight shades of red, yellow & green.

The ceramic tiles are consistently 60 x 60 in size, which has partly determined the placement of windows & balconies. 78 glazed balconies protrude from the four facades of the square building, to the 51 residential apartments.

Stockholm | Sweden

Visiting family & friends in Sweden & we’re having an amazing spring weather, albeit a little chilly in the air. Södermalm, often shortened to just Söder, is the southern district of Stockholm City Centre, in the video.

Kiruna

Kiruna is the northernmost city in Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland. It’s a historic mining town undergoing a transformation due to the deep mining close by. It offers stunning views of the Northern Lights & an experience of the Midnight Sun. It also boasts Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest mountain. Always loved this place.

Snow ❄️

There was a little snow last night & the air was crisp & fresh when I came out. It’s a special feeling to walk on the freshly fallen snow & hear the crunching sound under your feet.
