Gingerbread is an important part of the preparations with the family & children who yearn for the big day. This little gingerbread house is almost too sweet to be eaten and a fun idea for the handy.

Sydney is famous for its coffee shops & great coffee culture.
I wouldn’t dream of making a coffee at home when I have 10 coffee
shops within 60 seconds reach. Still, filter coffee isn’t a bad choice
…especially when it’s literally pouring down outside.

A nice cup of coffee & something sweet with it, is called FIKA in Swedish.
A very strong culture & tradition about hanging out / socialise over a coffee.
Mont-blanc-cassis with chestnut would be perfect – although perhaps a bit too much for a fika.

Coffee, one of the most important essentials in the modern world, right! News ways to make coffee, new countries, plantations, manufacturing, certification, taste – you name it.
In the end, it comes down to that first cup in the morning – for me 🙂

I know many might feel that beige isn’t a particularly interesting colour & that’s ok. I myself often return to that colour both in terms of clothing but also in terms of images. I’ve chosen different images that goes towards beige, brown, sand-coloured, vanilla, light brown, camel – without a thought of anything else than this thing in common. From light tones to the darker ones. I hope you find something that inspires you 🙂
