Bike tour / 205

Sometimes, things exists in environments, to fill up the space or to create a sense. It’s clear that they are there for a reason or another. These are often common things that not really creates any particular reaction. They fit so well into the environment that they become easy to ignore…or maybe not. That is, if it’s not too excessively or seems too unnatural. I am thinking of bicycles, as an example. Such as when these are placed in a hall … or becomes an eye-catcher in a part of a room. Not that it’s really needed because there are some clever solutions for that. Someone, has designed a shelf / rack that supports the cycle, while the shelf is used for small items. But it seems likely as more cool to just lean the bike a bit loosely against the wall.

Bikes are used frequently in various interiors. Perhaps because they give life or realism to the environment. There’s of course a need to bring in the bike into the home, given the housing situation or the residential area. You want to know & ensure that you have your bike left there, the next morning. Well, anyway, if it works indoors & you have the space then why not… just take a look at the images below.

Rooftops / 163

Hej dear friends,

Rooftops have always been exciting, from the time when I as a child ran around with the big kids at building / construction sites where you really could not be … & were so exciting precisely for that reason. To the rooftops you get to see from hotel rooms … when I dared to look out from the windows from that hight. I loved the movie Aristocats where the characters ran around on the rooftops in Paris. And something exciting always happened. I think I watched it hundred times with my boys. It’s not only the view that is exciting or the height, but also the fact that you are on a roof, at the top, where nobody can see you but you can see everything.

It’s exciting, fun & uplifting, but also romantic, isn’t it ?

Lightblue / 162

Hej friends,

Lightblue, a color I think of as rather unusual, these days. Not on kids maybe but generally on adults, in fashion, buildings or whatever. Some colours seems to just disappear for a long time. It’s like they’re not relevant anymore, for some reasons. It’s the same thing with, you know, actors, cities, music, food. I guess it has to do with what trendsetters, ad’s agencies, magazines etc. communicates. We are what we are presented, one might almost say. Too much around us are influenced by  others.

Don’t know what you think about light blue, but I liked what I saw, anyway.

Hidden treasure

Hidden in the snow, with windows & roof that sticks out, like a submarine coming up out of the depths of the sea.

With drifting snow, and tracks in the snow – like a scene from an exciting movie.
