Wouldn’t you just love a winter picnic in a setting like this?
Sheepskin rugs, blankets, pots, porcelain plates, lighted candles with snow all around.
It’s beautiful and refreshing.

I am an ordinary ordinary woman who is very much into traditions, the way I’ve
gotten used to – such as that, it should be cold, snow freezing temperatures,
when celebrating Christmas. If I can’t get that, I might as well go to a resort
(which it is not necessary here in Sydney with all the hundreds of beaches around)
& celebrate in life in the sun.

Maybe not my usual preference of style but definitely a perfect place & location, for a
Christmas gathering with family & friends. One thing missing though – loads of snow!

This time of year, it’s a great deal of friends & many events to gather around. There are dinners, lunches, coffees or a just over a glass of wine.
For our part, it’s often the simple things that becomes most successful.
Finger foods that do not need preparation & easy to put together in an attractive manner.

A Christmas image – that I am trying to get used to every year. Sand instead of snow.
