Cabinets

We have removed some cabinets , there’s no need to keep so much stuff but also because they took up too much space. It doesn’t feel particularly necessary to constantly save things – that still will take up space somewhere anyway. But that’s easier said than done – it’s about furniture that’s been with us for a while, or a long time. You get a special relationship to them. Furniture is not just things, they have an emotional value, as well as dressing the home in a comfortable attire that welcomes every time you walk through the door. In this case – beautiful, nice, old & new cabinet to be inspired by.

Transparent living

Doors, cabinets & dividers in glass does very much for the impression of a place. Instead of obscuring parts of the room, it opens up for an airier experience. Such as a window in the correct location, or a large room divided by a glass partition or why not by a cabinet with glass doors. It creates a different perspective of the room & provide great atmosphere as a whole.

Kitchen cabinets, whether it’s the top line or bottom, that are transparent throughout i.e. with glass on all sides, is amazingly refreshing & feels relatively new too. It requires a wise sense of order, for such an option. (take a look at the 9th image with glass cabinets on the wall). So my point is that glass dividers can contribute greatly to the comfort of a home. It’s nice & makes surfaces more bright & accessible.

Daily inspiration, white kitchen

A fun way to frame a surface while it’s relatively transparent so that it feels as an extension of the room. With all walls white, internal & external, including the ceiling, glass cabinets & windows, the whole feels very airy. The actual kitchen has an impression of an embrace which makes the surface gentler & inviting because of the rounded front.
