It’s clearly that I’m stuck in a certain colourless world that I appreciate & have great fondness for. I’m completely happy with that but am constantly reminded by my more colourful friends how completely “boring” it is – which makes me think of the situation vice versa. Ha!

Orange

Orange has great warmth when it’s in the right shade. It’s cool together with red, pink & cerise colours. The contrast can be exciting. Orange usually makes me think of carrots, pumpkins & apricots. It is between red & yellow & generally associated with extroverts, fire, activity, danger & the autumn season. It is an important symbolic colour of Buddhism & Hinduism. But today, it’s an orange theme basically because of Halloween.

Daily inspiration, shades of grey

Light grey, dark plus darker grey, different lengths plus layer on layer – that’s incredibly stylishly or neat depending on the design. That the environment is suitable in grey & white with a brick wall behind makes it even more great.

Daily inspiration, knitwear

I long for knitwear right now. Not that it’s cold, we’ve got summer on this side of the globe. But I was cleaning my closet & sorted out stuff that had been hanging around for a while & I would easily have room for a pair of stylish knitted sweaters & shawls now!
