I suddenly became a little nostalgic when I stumbled upon this image. It was one of the first products we ordered when we ran our business, a coffee & chocolate shop, back home in Sweden. This was almost 10 years ago. We sold these with only pure chocolate with a cocoa content of 65-70%. Perfect for small & big chocolate lovers. A cup of hot milk & a chocolate stick to stir & melt into the cup. Very nice indeed!

All sorts of desserts, snack & goodies are probably prepared & ready to serve for Christmas. No matter whether it’s bought or self made – although I prefer homemade. I had a mother who were very good at cooking, baking & in general an all-rounder in the kitchen. I inherited NOT the smallest portion of this ability. Maybe unfair, perhaps but it is what it is. But enjoying delicacies is not bad either. Desserts of all kinds are preferred, but generally, sweets is something of a must on the Christmas table. I had coffee in a beautiful little chocolate shop a while ago & the coffee part is located below the ground floor. The store it self is not so overly special but the serving area is very nice, cozy & inviting. They have obviously decided to work with the shop fittings in various shades of brown which in this case was the right choice. The lighting, colors, furniture & store expression was quite appealing & inviting. The environment was excellent together with the range … lovely pralines of all sorts, sizes, taste, shape…that is just waiting to be chosen! And when you add to the smell of coffee, then it’s easy to think that you are in heaven.
Brown is one of my favourite colours. I do prefer to combine it together with white, beige & black or just different brown shades. That is me, the predictable one. Well, it’s all about flavor & there are just as much tastes as there are people, of course, right?
