Museum

I love museum visits – the buildings, the exhibitions, the premises & the experience. And I would never miss the chance to visit the museum shop. It’s always nice, inspiring & enlightening. This one in Frankfurt is just mind blowing ⭐️

Frankfurt | Germany

The Rhine has had & still has enormous significance for trade in the countries concerned. Also a great strategic importance, as many castles & forts along the river testify. Today it was just beautiful in itself & the recurring bridges link the different areas with the city as the center. A beautiful place to walk along.

Balconies

It’s something very special with these balconies from 1950’s. It’s typical for this decade with balconies that’s cantilevered, in concrete & with steel railings – often in canvas or in corrugated steel sheet for protection or privacy.

Country style

A country style that never goes out of style. Very cozy, comfortable, lots of color & patterns, large rugs, generous surfaces & inviting.

Interior

Sometimes I ponder about how big an area you really need, without feeling trapped. I have a preference for smaller homes, that can decorate functionally with what’s needed for everyday life. The main thing is access to an outdoor area. Either way, this interior is an example of a living room in a size that fits. And looks good.
