I have gone from one favorite (vegetarian) restaurant to three. It doesn’t sound special at all but it is actually. They are all within a few minutes walking distance from where I work – with excellent-composed and well-prepared food. Not bad at all!

I don’t eat meat but the range of vegetarian burgers are now relatively widespread and in some places really good (when the mood for a burger occurs). However, food is a big part of a life and to then limit myself to vegetarian dishes as inspiration, isn’t something I’ve cared to bother about.

I have been sick for a couple of weeks & it has been very monotonous. It feels much better now when I finally are on the mend. It just confirms my belief that one should live for
each moment & be sincerely grateful for every day that that we get
to be healthy.
But, in regards to loss of appetite then – it inspired me to look for appealing, simple & easy to cook-dishes & finger food.

I have eaten healthy as long as I can remember & so does the rest in the family. A heritage, I guess. My boys have been vegetarians for around five years & I have thought to follow their path relatively long time now – but so finally, I decided about two months ago. Fortunately, desserts are not affected by the decision. So here’s a lovely dessert – simple but appealing – thinly crisp bread & pear slices, ricotta & syrup. With a cup of coffee!
