Balconies

We usually pull off on our bikes to explore various suburbs now & then. There’s always a lot to see & discover & lately I have noticed various residential buildings with balconies of all kinds. (not that I haven’t seen balconies before but anyway). Some of them do not even look useful, others merely because it contributes to the architecture & some, far too large for the building itself. It seems to be very popular with balconies with translucent glass, in most newly constructed areas. I am not thinking of apartment building but private houses.

Well, I guess it’s ok, I’m just not particularly fond of them. But no matter what size really, there are so many good ways to decorate the space so that fits any lifestyle or need. There has never been so varied & well designed range – economically, expensive, sparingly, for a small area, or spacious, by all means, it’s just to review the surface & decide what you want. As for balconies, yes, there is something special about them. What do you think?

Windows generally does the trick for the architecture as well as the light in the room. This specific window is tremendously beautiful as it is. It becomes as a beautiful jewellery to the environment. It is beautiful, with the daylight that is streaming in & embellishes the space. But mostly it is the window that makes the room.

Black lodging

It struck me the other day that it’s not particularly common with black houses. Thus black façades, the very dark soot-blackened façades. Can certainly be found here & there in specific areas. Properly done, it is really beautiful with black buildings that stand out in the public visual noise. Some buildings & houses can get a majestic dignity. Black houses beautifies wherever they turn up, whether it’s in town, the countryside, along the coast or in isolated areas. Let us see what you think. I am very fond anyway.

Artistic

Art can be & mean so much, not just something you can hang on the wall, although I would consider it to be good enough, of course. I just have to like it, or else no matter the cost, it would be something I would give away to someone that appreciates it more than I. But the great thing about art is that it can be adapted to what we want it to be. It’s about each person’s experience. What you read into the artwork, what it means to you or possibly what its worth, in one way or another.

I would not like to dispute all the different opinions since that adds to the excitement around art. For myself, I prefer the simple & predictable variety. I am after all, an ordinary woman 🙂

Daily inspiration, View

Imagine to go to bed or wake up to this view every day. It just must make you a better person. At least if you are a city person like me. I adore skyscrapers, hectic surroundings, stress, queues & so on. It makes me so small & insignificant in the big whole, if you get what I mean. Not to say that I am important, it’s just to explain the actual feeling.
