I don’t know what it is with rooftops, bricks, concrete & buildings in densely populated areas – something about it attracts.
Windows, roof ridges, balconies, different building styles, as well as one & another detail that stand out,
(like the small car out on the balcony).

It’s something about trains, railways & train stations that really appeals to me.
It is a fantastic way to travel & experience the surroundings.
I like the train compartment, window out to the outside world & the dining car you can get around to, for a meal.

I work in the city from time to time, where it’s tight between high rises, skyscrapers & office complex.
I prefer to take the time to stand & look out over the rooftops, see different terraces, pools, cafes from above. But best of all, is the exciting experience of rooftops, close together, with houses in different architectural styles & heights.
They convey a sense of another time, perhaps in another life, that once was.
