Roller blinds

Right now, I’m looking at fabric blinds that was sewn to our sons room in one of the many cities we have lived in. They are lime green & white, narrow-striped with white laces. Similar to the first image below. I can’t use them in any of the windows here but can still not bring myself to throw them away. Or rather, dispose of them to one of the many clothing bins for the salvation army. I will eventually, I’m just emotional right now.

Windows

I have a certain fascination with building features, one of which is windows. Doors, roofs, balconies, terraces, fences & other similar is exciting. New buildings with modern architecture has exciting solutions. As the first two pictures below. And older buildings, well they usually have windows that’s adorable.

Daily inspiration, light

I just adore the light in this kitchen – a little foggy sunlight coming through the window somewhere from the left. Also fine window straight forward & solid kitchen furniture. Especially the beautiful wall shelves with brackets.
