Wooden seats
We’ve become very fond of this type of stool, especially since we moved to Australia. My youngest son has the ability to find these at flea markets & second hand stores … and always to a ridiculously low price – a talent, for sure! I like the rustic look & they are surprisingly comfortable. They are also very flexible & can be used for so many different purposes & functions.
We came across two high black stools on a market, which I am fond of now. One is currently in use as a side table for a table lamp next to the couch in the TV room. Another finding is a chocolate brown low wooden stool, that is currently being used as an extra pallet on our patio.

I am fond of stools in general & particularly in design that combines different materials such as this stool in concrete & wood. It is also appealing in size & height adjustable. Could be used only as a display in a corner of the home – if nothing else, so for the sake of its beauty.

A black stool, what’s so special about it? Well, I think it looks great, it’s well designed & has a nice shape to the eye. That it’s also black in matte gloss paint, does not make things worse. A stylish piece!

I’m a huge lover of stools & small tables. We’ve probably had an abundance of them at home over time, I’ll admit. I find them so irresistible but also very flexible. I always used to buy when I happened to find one that I liked, bring it home, keep it unpacked, until I could find the right place somewhere. And over time, I had to stop doing that, which is understandable. So now I try to limit myself to see but not touch … thus emphasising try.
