I never tire of black & of white in interior design. Many may find it is boring & uninspiring, or rather predictable but no, not for me. It creates harmony, wholeness & a nice base to start from. As well as to add pop of colour or pattern or just keep it as it is. Good enough for me 🙂

I usually find that environments in glass, steel & very white to it, becomes quite impersonal & cold. Especially if the lighting in the home isn’t fully successful. In this case I fell for the part with the mirrors. Mirrors in different sizes & shapes in one line, with similar hanging device. It looks good!

I’m drawn to this kind of solution. (do you remember the one I posted the other day with the wall mounted cabinets). My darling claims that it’s not particularly practical to not see each other when you hang out. But it’s easy to turn to the person one is talking to or just move around instead of sitting stiffly across from each other. (a conversation, to be continued, I guess).

Recycling is important & can look this beautiful too. Old chafed windows leaned against the wall to act as a headboard. With the right attributes, the effect is an old-fashioned setting with style & charm. Pretty nice, I believe.
