Candlesticks

So, we have finally taken down our Christmas boxes from the attic, even if it’s in the last minute. I can’t say I have the same desire or interest to decorate as in the past. It’s not the same feeling without winter & frost (it’s currently 35 degrees outside). Old habits die hard. But some candle sticks will be used after all, once when darkness falls.

I’ve been a collector of lanterns & had way too many for a while. It’s appealing to put them into groups with lit candles. They create such an atmosphere & great feeling, especially when it has darkened a bit in the evenings. They contribute to a high cosiness factor.

Outdoor Image

Daily inspiration, rich hues

I always look forward to autumn season, filled of rich colours, scents & pleasant walks in the surrounding areas. It’s nice when it becomes darker & darker so one have a reason to light candles & cozy up. Despite a warm spring here in Sydney, the colours in our backyard shifts between a delirious spring & rich hues of autumn. That’s a very nice combination – the best of two worlds!
