A day off in the middle of the week with nice weather, it’s nice sometimes. Especially when I have a working weekend ahead of me. It’s been nice weather so I spent the morning on the terrace with breakfast, music in the background & a lot of magazines. I therefore thought that a nice picture of outdoor furniture would suit fine, a day like this. Wood & concrete with some white and grey – nice!

Now you might be thinking that, here’s yet another black & white – graphic, interior image. Well, so be it, but with a fun mix. The back wall with white tiles, creates a nice feel & is a great combination to the black wall shelf & white countertop. The steel table with transparent chairs seem to float on the white wooden floor. The tall black cabinet in the background stabilises the entire room. The dining table lamp in copper, is the finishing touch!

I thought this image was very stylish. It is graphically interesting & appealing despite the simplicity of it. I find this a very attractive & nice idea. Being able to combine traditional classrooms with futures-learning environments, like this. Well, not only school environment but also as small quiet rooms for different workgroups in office environments. Preferably with an adjoining coffee shop, of course. That would do the trick for motivation & job satisfaction.

I am fond of small tables of various kinds. They are so easy to use for different needs & functions. Also easy to move around where it fits the moment. It’s not necessary to use bedside table if you’re looking to solve that need. There are plenty of other variations & solutions that work very well for that purpose. I’m just saying. Everything from stools to shelves, small desks to smaller bookshelves or just stacks of books. To me it’s like eye candy to look around in different stores – it’s great with small well-designed nightstand in fine materials, clever uses or just a fun detail that stands out.
