preference

You probably know my preference by now if you followed the blog for a while. I post inspiring images because I’m primarily an image enthusiast or whatever the word that describes the need to look at inspiring pictures. Inspiration for me is what catches the eye, creating pleasure & curiosity or sheer joy in the moment. It is all too often not the actual style, design or colour that suits me personally.

Now I wear mostly jeans / slacks & T-shirt for work because that is what is needed but my personal choice could look like this – clean straight lines, no significant details & quite basic colour scale. It makes my heart beat indeed.

Details

I have made a selection of different images with details that stands out, without shouting too much. Details that are there to discover, either for its richness in terms of expression or for its simplicity. I find most of these images inspiring but there’s only few that I would choose based on my preferences & liking. Mostly because I’m not a major user of much jewellery, lace or ruffles, even though it is neat to see on others.

Daily inspiration, tile

Simple pattern on small space makes a huge difference. But it has to be on a small space otherwise it’s too much – I would get tired pretty soon, unfortunately. This solution is just right in my opinion even though it’s not my preference in style.
